On the 25^th,26^th of December the English people celebrated Christmas ,the most favourite holiday. They also celebrate the New Year on the first of January. The students of the 4^th-C form prepared a party devoted to these holidays .The parents were invited to the party.

25,26 грудня англійці святкують улюблене свято Різдво. Вони також святкують 1 січня Новий Рік. Учні 4-В класу нашої школи підготували вечірку присвячену цим святам. На вечірку вони запросили своїх батьків.

The party began with the students’ stories about the seasons of the year. The other children had to guess what seasons they were.

Вечірка розпочалась з коротких розповідей про пори року. Діти повинні були вгадати ці пори року.

The children decorated the small fir tree with toys, told poems, stories about Christmas traditions in Britain.

Діти прикрасили маленьку ялинку і розповідали про традиції святкування Різдва в Англії.

На вечірці діти відповідали на запитання вікторини

The teacher told the children how English people celebrate the New Year. She asked the students to be her interpreters who translated the story into Ukrainian.

Вчителька розповіла дітям,як англійці святкують Новий Рік, скориставшись допомогою «перекладачів».

The students learned about the Resolutions the English people make on the New Years Day. They tried to make their own ones.

Учні дізналися про те що англійці беруть на себе зобов’язання під час святкування Нового Року. Учні спробували прийняти свої.

During the party the students played a game. They pinned the ’noses’ on the face of a snowman. The winner was the student whose nose was the closest to the center of a snowman’s face. The teacher blindfold the students.

Під час вечірки учні грали в гру. Вони приклеювали ніс на обличчя сніговика. Вигравав той учень, хто приклеїв ніс найближче до носу сніговика

At the end of the party all children sang songs “Merry Christmas” and “Jingle Bells”

На кінець вечірки учні заспівали пісні “Merry Christmas”, ”Jingle Bells”.
